after sharp claws tap linoleum,
light, quick and delicate,
announcing your
daintiness…

shiny brown eyes,
drip with longing,
holding hearts captive while
need slides between us…

endless love painted
by your tongue,
signaling the availability of joy and
the rightness
of touching…

how loud the stillness
without you…
